This collection contains some of Chris Rea's finest songs from his "previous life" as a middle of the road rock/pop recording artist. The collection is notable for having a number of songs that non-owners of Rea's earlier albums may not have heard.
However, times have changed and Chris has moved to his own record label, with new musicians (fabulous ones) and a new blues style, which is the root of all his previous music, unadulterated by the need for commercial success that working for a large label brings.
