Elmore James/ Jimmy Reed/ Eddie Taylor - Street Talkin' Me
Artist: Elmore James/ Jimmy Reed/ Eddie Taylor
Album: Street Talkin' Me
Release Date: 1975
Label: Muse
Bitrate: 256 k/s
File Size: 74 MB
Review:
The
Elmore James tunes come from a couple 1957 sessions he did w/ Vee Jay.
Yet again this wasn't released until 1975. 4 of the tunes were the A
& B sides of 45 singles back in 57 though. The other 3 saw their
1st release on this disc. The sound quality has nothing to do w/the
quality of the CD I own. Thats just the way the Vee Jay material sounds
from the mid 50's. Yet again I hate to over look commenting on Eddie
Taylor. I know it's billed as 'Elmore James/ Jimmy Reed/ Eddie Taylor,'
but they just did that because Jimmy Reed was the most famous of the 3
& he just happened to play harmonica on a couple of the Eddie
Taylor tunes (the music industry is so shady!)
